On 8 June, clusters are already clearly visible in the rows. With flowering behind us, the vine is moving into a decisive period where the balance between foliage, light and sanitary condition matters greatly.
The berries are still young, but their presence gives the first markers of the season. Work continues plot by plot to support growth, open up the canopy and keep a clear reading of the vineyard.
It is still too early to speak about the vintage. But at this stage, seeing fine clusters in the vines gives an encouraging base for the weeks ahead.
