After a very mild winter and an almost spring-like start to March, the end of the month reminded us that the vine remains vulnerable until spring is firmly settled.

The night of 26 to 27 March 2026 was particularly cold. In northern Aquitaine, vines were already showing early stages in some plots, with young shoots sensitive to frost.

At the estate, damage fortunately remained limited. The most visible marks were concentrated in the lower parts of the plots, where cold air descends and settles more easily overnight.

The rest of spring will still require attention, but most of the vineyard is continuing its cycle.
